Discover the organization of PANDOMIC
The project is organized in 8 work packages, forming the backbone and building blocks of the project. Each work package is dedicated to a specific aspect of the project proposal:

WP1
Project Management & Coordination
The objective of WP1 is the overall coordination of the project and its activities, ensuring the timely delivery of the project results, through effective administrative and financial management, as well as collaboration and communication among consortium partners and the European Commission.

WP2
Project Evaluation and Monitoring
The objective of WP2 is to continuously monitor and evaluate the process, output and outcome of the project in function of the project objectives and actions as described in the different work packages through a project evaluation plan. Thus, assessing and optimizing project progress.

WP3
Project Sustainability
The objective of WP3 is to develop and implement a sustainability plan, aiming to foster sustainability in the different tasks and actions of the project by identifying required resources to maintain the project activities, foresee potential networks between partners and stakeholders, in order to reach the project specific objectives, with long-term benefits for society, environment and economy.
About PANDOMIC
In response to the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the European Commission launched the European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA), underscoring the need for proactive measures to prevent, detect, and respond to health emergencies. “Implementation of Pandemic Preparedness Plan using Integrated Genomic Surveillance Programs” (PANDOMIC), aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration in laboratory diagnostics and surveillance to improve public health response and contribute to global pandemic preparedness to protect people from serious cross-border health threats.
